Online payment

The credit card module enable your customers to pay using a variety of different payment options. This will ease the shopping process and be a key factor in increasing your sales. At the same time it will dramatically reduce the financial risk of selling online.

Currently we support the following payment options in Denmark:

  • Dankort
  • International Credit Cards
    Eurocard/MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron and JCB.
  • Diners Club
  • American Express
  • eDankort
    Basically replaces Bank transfer, since it supports account-to-account transfer of money between all financial institutions in Denmark.
  • Bank transfer
    Nordea and Den Danske Bank and BG Bank
  • Mobile payment
    mPay (Orange and PBS)
  • Account cards
    IKEA kort, Albertslund Centrum Kundekort, Bauhaus BestCard, Computer City Kundekort, Frederiksberg Centret Kundekort, Fisketorvet Shopping Card, Ford CreditCard, Glostrup Shopping Card, HM Konto, Hillerød Shopping Card, Inspiration Best Card, CityKort Næstved, Q8 ServiceKort, Spies Best Card, Tjæreborg Kundekort, Toys R Us - BestCard, Vestsjællandscentret, Silvan kort.
  • Forbrugsforeningen
    "Forbrugsforeningen af 1886" is the largest wholesale society for civil servants in Denmark with more than 115.000 members who are able to earn bonus from shopping in several thousand shops across the country.

Be aware that to be able to offer any of these payment options you need to enter a separate agreement with each of the payment providers above.

Advanced administration interface
To ease the handling of the online transactions the shop administrator gets access to a user-friendly administration interface, with the following features:

  • Download statistical transactions reports into e.g. Excel.
  • Online generation of statistics on sales, user behaviour, errors, etc, including graphical overview of sales.
  • Virtual terminal for manual completion of credit card payments received by phone.
  • Possibility of handling transactions in more than 250 different currencies.
  • Multi-user functionality for giving multiple administrators differentiated access rights.
  • Multilingual administration interface.
  • Balancing payments with account statements.

Other payment providers
Are you located outside of Denmark, or do you want credit card clearing through an international payment provider, we offer you the following:

  • ePDQ (Barclays Bank)
    ePDQ is a secure online service for card payment authorisation and settlement offered by Barclaycard Merchant Services, a division of Barclays Bank.
    Currently ePDQ support: EUROCARD/MasterCard (excl. Maestro), VISA, VISA Electron, American Express, JCB, SOLO and SWITCH.
  • PayNet
    Paynet is a Norwegian based provider of products for secure electronic e-commerce.
    Currently PayNet supports: VISA, EUROCARD and MasterCard.

Security
All sensitive data are transferred on a secure line (https) and for security reasons no sensitive information is stored in shopServer. Furthermore the listed payment providers are of course approved by each of the Credit Card issuers.
