High availability via fibre optic and radio link
DIR A/S provides upwards of 99.9% uptime on all hosting services. In order to make this possible, DIR A/S has invested in redundant optic fibre connections of 2 x 155 mega bits per second, combined with radio link connections with the capacity of 622 mega bits per second. Both lines are running simultaneously, so if the fibre optic fails the radio link takes over immediately, securing high level of availability.

The back-up is operated by DM Safe witch is the leading back-up company in Denmark backing up data for a number of large banks and governmental institutions.
